Operation Whitecoat Screening and Talk

Operation Whitecoat tells the story of the more than 2,300 conscientious objectors who volunteered to serve their country by participating in U. S. Army medical experiments focused on developing defensive medical countermeasures against the Soviet Union’s bio-warfare capabilities. Arthur O. Anderson, MD, P’07, a member of the Hood College Board of Trustees, is an applied ethicist who has been involved in Human Research Subject Protections since 1975 when he was appointed chair of the USAMRIID IRB, called the Human Use Committee [HUC]. Triforce Quartet

The Triforce Quartet began innocently as a short Zelda medley for an encore of a recital in early 2007, but the video of using traditional string quartet instruments to play music of classic games gained viral popularity later that summer. Thanks to this, cellist Chad Schwartz was able to combine his love for video games, along with years of classical training, to arrange a variety of video game themes that even non-gamers can enjoy.
